crm strategy

What excites me most is the business impact I'm able to create from all the analytics I do. Over my years of journey, I have learned a great deal from the business leaders and visionaries on how to approach a business problem and use the available resources at hand to solve them.

I have worked extensively on developing CRM strategies for Retail, IOT & Hi-Tech firms. Below is one example of my work

Project:  Enhancing customer loyalty and customer Engagement for a major retailer in Middle East.

Role:      Led the entire client project and managing all the team deliveries from loyalytics.

Stakeholder Engagement:

       Client End: Weekly sync up with CMO and daily reporting to managing partners
       My End:      Sync up with CSMs and CTO for any product related updates.

 

Project Execution:
 

  • Initial meetings set up with Managing Partners/CMO to know more about the current business.

  • Worked with my analysts & product team to understand current business state and areas of improvement through rigorous data analysis.

  • Connected with marketing managers & IT heads to present our initial findings and understood the dynamics

  • Brainstorm with my cofounders and built a detailed plan on key customer strategies such as customer acquisition, Retention/Development and overall revenue growth.

  • Divided my key strategies in tactic goals on increasing walk-ins, increase repeat purchase, promote cross channel shopping, reduce churn & increase loyalty base/registrations.

  • Developed business dashboards for daily monitoring and implemented models such as segmentation, recommendation, revenue forecasting and churn prediction to support our tactic goals.

  • Developed a detailed campaign plan and a goal measurement framework.

  • Revisited our business plan end of every month & quarter as per the performance.



What I did differently:

    Customer Development & Retention

  • In-depth focus on increasing loyalty customers in the system.

  • Promoted app usage as our app users were spending high compared to non app customers.

  • Built effective models in the production such as recommendation, fraud & customer segmentation that helped us revisit the budget allocation and refine our campaign plan.

  • Worked with product team on developing new stamping/gamification features in the app to keep our customers engaged.

  • Targeted promotions as per customer segments

  • Reactivated old customers as per their purchase behavior.

    Customer Acquisition

  • Referrals from existing customer base

  • Recommended offline alliance with cinema partners helped the company on acquisition front.

  • Omni channel presence (Communication via different channels)

  • Revisited store layouts for best sellers resulting in better walk-in to purchase conversion.
     

Impact on Business:

  • 3X ROI compared to last year.

  • 30K AED incremental revenue from target campaigns every month

  • Increased the number of app downloads from by additional 25k - 30k.

  • Increased the customer ATV from frequently visiting customers

  • Increased the walk-in conversion by providing strong incentives to cashiers.

  • Made entire reporting and monitoring process seamless and more time was spent on decision making.
