I have 5+ years of exposure on product analytics and worked on refining technology products through consistent data analytics & market research. Specific areas covered in Product Management Lifecycle are as of below :

  • Ideation stage
    Build and define use cases for the need of product to solve a specific set of business problems.
    Support use cases with numbers and proper market research.
    Thorough estimated impact analysis of the product on business.
    Work with the product team to assist them in the roadmap planning and build product document.
    Help the team plan an anti-product roadmap to ensure simplicity and clean user experience
     

  • Development stage
    Track feature development with PMs and sometimes directly with developers and timely communication with business stakeholders.

     

  • Measurement stage
    Analyze customer experience with the app in terms of below metrics:
       1.   Number of visits and conversion funnel
       2.   % feature/page engaged & drop-off rate (add to cart, payment page)
       3    Loading duration
       4.   Customer Profile (Demogs, Device Brand/OS/App version, Browsing Pattern)
       5.   Customer voice/feedback analysis 
     

  • Refinement stage
    I have helped product team through multiple iterations based on user interaction data and market relevance of the features. 
    1.  Feature/Element optimizations through consistent A/B testing and measurement to test our business hypothesis on what's more relevant to the              user.
      2.  App crashes or high page load duration and highlighting the bugs to the team.
     

  •  Other Ad-hoc Product Analytics
     
    Below is my work on few business areas in product analytics that has helped us drive customer engagement.
      1.    User cohort analysis (by sign up date, last seen/app used)
      2.    N day retention and unbounded retention analysis (Overall, Driving features vs dragging features)
      3.    Help the campaign team targeting inactive users via different channel (Push, email, SMS)
      4.    New App version Launch monitoring and proactively help the team resolve them.
      5.    Targeted user communication as per browsing history/profile.
