Having years of experience on directly working on several projects with variety of clients, I have gained exposure on managing the project scope & specifics, daily progress, deadlines and further assessment of roadblocks if any.

There are few steps I usually take to ensure the efficient management of entire lifecycle of a project.

  • Timely Approvals for all the initiatives for a smooth execution

  • Detailed discussion on project specifics and get the final concrete steps

  • Efficient communication between Team Members

  • Monitor the work execution closely for a speedy & error-free execution.

  • Proper Documentation.

  • Recognizing opportunities in advance and work on POCs to maximize the ROI

  • Consistent Backward and Forward Planning

TEAM management

So far, I have 4 years of experience in people management and areas I am involved are as of below:
 

  • Hire New Talent:
    I have helped the company hiring pro-actively for clients we onboard/expand

     

  • Define KRAs:  
    Set clear goals & expectations for my team members in terms of their performance criterions and at the same time working with aligning the work with their expectations.

     

  • Mentoring:
    At any point of time, I have directly managed a team of max 4 people so far (currently managing 3 team members). I also mentor other resources who are working independently with different clients in case they need any help.

     

  • Feedback sessions & appraisals:  
    One on one feedback sessions and measure the performance against defined KRAs. Work with HR & Co-founders for the further process on appraisals. 

       My Managing Style

I prefer to give the space and freedom to my team members and usually not prefer to micro manage anyone. My work delegation is also dependent on the kind of resources I have. Apart from our weekly/bi-weekly stand-ups, I ensure my prompt availability if any of the resource has any roadblock (tech, business or personal reason) in any of the ongoing projects and also at the same time make sure to not to spoon-feed them everything.
